GRM Law has some exciting news to share with you – on 1 May 2018, we merged with Greenwoods Solicitors LLP.
As you know, GRM Law is a London-based firm, with a rich and diverse history that extends over 230 years. We have a strong reputation for specialist expertise across all our practice areas, including our international desks, and take pride in offering the highest standards of service to our clients.
As part of our growth strategy, we have always explored new opportunities to grow and expand the work we do. With that in mind, we have taken the decision to merge with Greenwoods Solicitors LLP, a firm that shares our ambitions, values and ethos. We believe that the merger brings together two great firms, each with its own historical legacy – yet with a shared vision for thefuture.
Greenwoods is predominantly a commercial law firm, which has a continuing commitment to private client work in the same way as GRM Law. Greenwoods’ main office is in Peterborough and the firm has additional offices in Cambridge and London. Its reputation is strongest in the East of England, although its portfolio includes national and international clients.
From 1 May, the newly-merged firm is to be known as Greenwoods GRM LLP. Robert Dillarstone (MD at Greenwoods) will be the Managing Partner of Greenwoods GRM LLP and Jane Laidler (GRM Law’s Senior Partner) will continue in her role as Senior Partner of the merged firm. Alper Deniz will continue to head the firm’s respected and expanding finance and investment funds practice, while Philip Carter and Ian Bowyer will lead the private client team with Kerri Pellington-Woodrow of Greenwoods.
As a result of the merger, our current specialisms will be strengthened and we will have more resource to invest in our business, to continue to deliver an excellent service to all our clients. As a ‘Top 200 law firm’, Greenwoods GRM LLP will offer a high-quality, agile and responsive firm which will be a great legal solution for both long-standing and newclients.
